Coating Blades Substrates
Blade coating technology is suitable for substrates of various materials, such as paper, plastic, metal and glass. Nevertheless, blade coating imposes high requirements on the surface flatness and dimensional stability of substrates, to prevent common defects including uneven coating thickness, deformation, shrinkage, bubbles and scratches.
Coating Fluid
- Solid content: 50%~60%
- Viscosity: 1000~300000 MPa·s
- Coating weight: 6~30 g/m²
The coating fluid shall maintain chemical stability during the coating process and must not react with coating blades or substrates.
Main Application Fields
- Packaging Industry: Coating adhesives, inks and other materials to meet bonding, printing and other functional demands of packaging materials.
- Electronics Industry: Coating conductive ink, insulating coatings and other functional materials to improve the performance and service reliability of electronic components.
